The Meadows was thoughtfully designed to replicate the most appealing features found in a private residence: Attractive furnishings and artwork, carpeted rooms and hallways, warm lighting, an abundance of windows, comfortable spaces to meet and relax, an expansive library of books, a cozy fireplace, and beautiful gardens.
Residents’ rooms are spacious and light-filled, and each has a private bathroom. Rooms are available furnished or unfurnished to allow residents to decorate their living space with his or her cherished belongings.
It is rare to hear our residents say that there is nothing to do at The Meadows! From exercise classes to musical performances, luncheon outings to literature readings, book club to a homemade pie social—each day there are many opportunities for residents to keep active and connect with others.
With our friendly staff providing the everyday assistance and services seniors often need, we make it easy for our residents to focus their energies on enjoying life. Our goal is to make living here as worry-free as possible.
As a licensed assisted living residence, The Meadows provides the following services:
- Three appetizing, healthful meals a day, including special diets ordered by a physician, served in our beautifully appointed dining room
- Snacks and beverages between meals
- Nursing oversight 24 hours a day
- Assistance with personal care as needed including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, walking, transferring from bed to a wheelchair, and eating.
- Medication assistance and administration
- Housekeeping services
- Linen and personal laundry
- Transportation to medical appointments
- Coordinated health care services
- Social and recreational activities
