[Music] I've enjoyed coming to visit her I almost feel like I'm coming home because everybody knows me you get to know their family very well any family member that comes in here I can tell you who they are I get to know them just as much as I get to know the residents they're really good they take the time to spend with the residents they're happy they're content probably more contented they were in their own home I am very impressed with share Haven as a whole everybody's care is individualized for that person and I actually moved my grandma here she has actually improved from when she was at home we try to create a home-like environment for residents that has Alzheimer's or related dimensions it's all about relationship I use the term the best friends approach every day you need to connect with that person so they realize that you're your friend they may not know my name gosh you look really familiar to me I feel a lot of you a lot of repetition a lot of connecting a lot of one-on-one attention and that's what builds a rapport in the relationships with the residents the big decision to trust your loved one with a stranger you need to have that connection if their loved one is going to be safe we all just kind of work together as a team family staff and residents I really enjoy it I convince my mother that this was the place for her and she is much improved in every way imaginable this has been better for her and shall I say me every positive box I would check and every 0 to 10 10 10 10 the 10 we touch people we hug them we smile we cry and you have dementia your life definitely changes but it doesn't have share Haven in the best place for anybody to go that is leading $24 a month I care I wouldn't have Graham any other place grandma is my heart I would do anything for her [Music]

yes it was a difficult decision to move trevor green I have I had a lovely home and I loved it and but I realize I'm getting older and my family really thought that I should be here and so it was with their encouragement that I'm here and I'm I'm just so glad I haven't cuz I really truly like it it's even better that I finally stole my homeland so I have no responsibilities now and I just feel very carefree I'm happy after the first lunch we had here I went and took a nap woke up and there was somebody washing the outside of my windows and it seemed to me that this was the difference than what I had been used to before and a lot of the fuss has taken out of life evergreen offers a variety of living options and peace of mind I can't I think it's nice knowing that everything is taken care of you know my laundry's taken care of my apartment is cleaned and if I need any help I can call anybody it's just it's just a very comfortable situation in my kids are happy about it too so they're happy that they didn't have to make me come they love it here maybe loved it that I am here at the time that we decided to move to Evergreen we discussed it with them and told them what we had found when we visited Evergreen and what they had to offer and they were all for it they said then go for it dead most of the people we've talked to said Wow you know I didn't lose anything and I've gained a lot but I don't think my life has changed a lot otherwise I'm still in the same activities with a few more added my wife really hasn't changed that much since I came here early because I'm very involved in the community I belong to a lot of clubs and organizations and I still attend to all these things but it's so much fuller now Evergreen has so much going on here all the time I'll never get bored there either feeding us or educating us all the time one of the fears I think that some people have is where am I gonna put my stuff it turns out not to be a problem evergreen offers a number of attractive flexible housing options here we thought how can we go from a three-story house that we lived in for 42 years and my wife is a saver to here and we found that we have more space actually than we really need the house here it still is almost 1400 square feet which is more than I need but it's comfortable with scenic views and gorgeous serene grounds you walk a mid beauty year-round you really do I forget how many thousand tens of thousands of tulips are planted in the spring very cheery I've got a wonderful scene out of all of my windows the reason the chosen apartment has a best view I think in the whole manner because it looks out on the garden and the brook and so I had that beautiful view every day and we got to the unit we're in now and my wife looked out the window and saw no other units and grass trees the stream and said I could live here and so then I turned to I think it was sue but it may have been someone else and said where do I sign come and visit and ask for a tour well I would say it's a very friendly place and one that you would feel safe and comfortable and would give you a lot of activities there's this about anything that you would want to do you could find to do it evergreen in that you would always find help and friendship and encouragement and it just it's just a really great place I just I just think it's super Darrell would definitely recommend evergreen to anybody that was looking for a retirement community nurse feels gorgeous for y'all life is great with beautiful surroundings and enriching amenities developed over a rich 45-year history at Evergreen possibilities await
