Our six-resident care homes are housed in a private residential home settings. Our residential care facilities operate under the supervision of Community Care Licensing, a sub agency of the California Dept. of Social Services.

Unlike a large retirement community where residents essentially rent an apartment, Premiere Cottages residents live in ordinary homes. Each facility is equipped with six private rooms, as well as common areas like a living room and kitchen where residents can socialize. The environment is ideal for seniors who prefer a close community and strong social ties to other residents.

Residents can customize their room however they like, using the provided furniture or bringing their own, along with personal items. Each house offers different amenities, like master bedrooms with private bathrooms, patios, backyards, and gardens.

Each home also has wake staff to keep residents safe and well-cared-for. “Wake staff” is a term referring to staff members who stay awake at all hours to assist our clients with any needs during the night. Wake staff can respond quickly to medical emergencies, as well as minor issues such as helping a resident go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Residents can sleep soundly knowing that someone is always there to watch over them.

In California, the residential care system was established to provide non institutional home based services to dependent care groups such as the elderly, disabled, and for those suffering from Alzheimer’s disease or other kinds of dementia. Our services are available 24 hours a day, but we also understand the importance your loved one’s independence and enable them to stay active with various plan activities.
