Irvine Cottages’ is the first and the finest in memory care. We provide full-service memory care based on the most current gerontological research on older adults and memory care. We serve all of Orange County including Irvine, Mission Viejo, Newport Beach, Lake Forest, Tustin, Laguna Woods, Newport Coast, Turtle Rock and surrounding areas.

Irvine Cottages is dedicated to providing compassionate and assisted living to all of our residents. We offer memory care in a small residential setting. This unique setting is homelike and is a less over-stimulating and calm environment, though we do offer many stimulating activities and programs. The small homelike setting provides so much enjoyment for residents and provides families with five-star residential care for their elders. We provide peace of mind through our professional management team and state of the art camera video monitoring system.

The programs, such as music, art and exercise therapies, as well as the homemade meals at each cottage, are tailored to meet each cottage population’s needs. We offer cottages with mild, moderate and late-stage and hospice care.

All of our staff receive ongoing education in Alzheimer’s care, as this is of prime importance to Jacqueline’s and Irvine Cottages’ mission. We also know taking your loved ones to medical appointments can be a time-consuming challenge, and at Irvine Cottages all medical services come to the resident! We have physicians, home health care staff, pharmacy service, X-ray and laboratory services, hospice care, occupational and physical therapists who come to the Cottages on a regularly-scheduled and/or on an as-needed basis. These are just a few examples of what true assisted living means.

Our resident geriatrician and psychiatrist visit twice a month or as needed. Dr. Jason Abney is our current mobile medical director. Our residents really enjoy his kind and caring approach with older adults and their families.

Your loved ones will enjoy a full schedule of resident activities in every one of our Cottages. Our philosophy is that all residents deserve the highest quality of life, no matter what their cognitive abilities. Arts & crafts, music, games, outings, and parties are just a few of the usual activities your loved ones will benefit from while living at Irvine Cottages. Our music therapy program includes piano, guitar, drums, strings, and trained singers. Our residents also get daily enjoyment from karaoke, Wii systems, and even iPads.
