Villa Mulholland is a residential board and care facility for elderly located in the heart of Woodland Hills, adjacent to Calabasas. Villa Mulholland is a one of a kind facility. Unlike other facilities located in the San Fernando Valley, prides itself on providing a luxurious family atmosphere, in a high end residential community.

Upon entering Villa Mulholland, guests and residents are greeted by a breathtaking living room, with a beautiful grand piano, comfortable furniture, and a 50” wall mounted flat screen television. All residents enjoy the comfort of a private bedroom, each with a private restroom. In addition to the stunning interior, Villa Mulholland boasts an incredible patio, with outdoor furniture, gardens, and walk ways.

The home is a big part of residents’ lives, however the care we provide remains our number one priority. Our superb caregivers provide 24 hour per day care and look after the best interests of all residents. Caregivers go beyond the call of duty by building loyal and loving relationships.

Most importantly, we have an open door policy and encourage communication between families, caregivers, and administrators to ensure that your loved ones are well taken care of and all expectations are surpassed.

Villa Mulholland offers the optimum level of luxury with its comforting and inviting common areas and its private, attractive bedrooms. Common areas include a beautiful formal dining table, gorgeous grand piano, a wall-mounted flat screen television, and irresistibly comfortable couches. Private bedrooms are spacious and furnished with access to private in-suite bathrooms for the residents’ comfort and convenience. The home has been upgraded with wide hallways, doorways, and a wheelchair accessible ramp along the perimeter of the property. Central air and heat keep the temperature ideal at all times and the beautiful covered patio is a wonderful escape for fresh air. For the comfort and safety of our residents and their guests, the facility has been fully secured with fences, alarmed gates, and alarmed exterior doors as well as smoke detectors and emergency lights.

Providing the best and highest level of care for your loved ones is our priority. We offer customized levels of care for each individual. Villa Mulholland employs a highly trained and experienced staff of caregivers and always maintains a minimum of one caregiver per two resident ratio. Caregivers live in the facility and provide 24 hour personalized care, offering assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and incontinence care. Other services provided by our caregivers include assistance with self-administered medications, daily housekeeping and laundry, and frequent wellness checks for observation of changes in physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Residents are provided with three, tasty, nutritious, kosher style meals each day along with snacks, coffee, teas, and juices available throughout the day. Villa Mulholland has built relationships with visiting professionals such as doctors, massage therapists, hairdressers, and manicurists who are available to attend to our residents.

We offer a wide array of activities and entertainment for our residents. Activities include arts and crafts, gardening, group and individual reading, movies, board games, card games, and many more. Professional musicians perform live music with engaging sing along weekly. Birthday and holiday celebrations include themed decorations throughout the home, special meals and desserts, storytelling, and singing. We proudly celebrate all holidays and take part in cultural activities that allow residents to feel even more at home. Our beautiful covered patio provides the ideal location for picnics, afternoon tea time, or just peaceful lounging on a warm day. We engage residents in physical exercise, such as stretching and walking, to keep them active and healthy. Our caregivers will gladly assist residents in their exercise and expose them to the beauty of nature, including an assortment of gardening activities. We also offer a variety of optional activities such as beauty days, including hairdresser services and massage therapy.
