Our Angels Senior Living at Dunedin community specializes in providing top-notch memory care for our residents in a setting that feels like home. Memory care is the specialized subset of assisted living that covers seniors and other adults with memory loss. Memory loss occurs as a result of Alzheimer’s, dementia, or another cognitive disease. Our memory care staff are trained specifically to work with individuals suffering from memory loss to provide them with a healthy, enriching environment designed to encourage memory recall.
We strive to provide a comprehensive assisted living experience for memory-impaired seniors. We understand the long-term benefits of feeling self-sufficient and offer many opportunities for residents to have experiences familiar to them. Residents are given the opportunity to pursue old hobbies or develop new ones, play games that encourage memory recall, listen to music or create art, and flourish in comfort.
Every Dunedin care team member receives Level I and Level II memory care education, allowing them to provide the most modern treatment methods and recommendations to our residents. Each team member is also fully trained in customer service to communicate with residents and their family members, ensuring they receive the highest levels of safety and care. Special food and activity requests are always welcome and encouraged so that all residents are content and comfortable in their new home.
Our Dunedin residence is unique in the Angels Senior Living Network as one of only two locations dedicated to memory care. Many of our other facilities in the Tampa Bay Area and Sarasota also offer dual assisted living and memory care communities.
