Sandstone Heights

Sandstone Heights is a community owned, not-for-profit residence located in small town Little River, Kansas. With our small patient to worker ratio, we are truly able to treat each individual with the love and kindness they deserve in their retired years.

Sandstone Heights was built in 1972. Community members representing the three churches in Little River, The Congregational, United Methodist, and Holy Trinity Catholic, got together, formed a Hospital District and built the nursing home. Sandstone Heights is owned by the hospital district patrons and managed by an elected Board of Directors. Many people in the community provide volunteer services to assist those who live on our campus.
