The staff is chosen for their attitude of compassionate care as well as professional experience. They are regularly inserviced upon topics such as dementia care, infection control, fire and disaster response, first aid and CPR. Most of the staff have been here between with us here in Lutherville, MD seven to forty plus years.
The role of the care workers is to provide personalized care to the resident as the family requires. They encourage independence but will aid residents with simple task. Our staff is watchful of any changes in the residents health.
At College Manor, our goal is to achieve restaurant quality food while maintaining an at home dining atmosphere. Our newly renovated dining room will make you feel right at home.
Our kitchen staff caters to all varieties of dietary needs. Our friendly dining room staff will greet you with warm smiles while assisting you throughout each meal. A certified dietitian approves all of the menus, and offerings include a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables from our garden. Familiar meat and fish recipes are part of the meal followed by dessert. Special diets are limited but we will try to work with you to satisfy your needs.
Our spacious resident rooms allow you to bring your favorite furniture from home to get that comfortable, home feeling.
You may decorate your room as you like as long as safety is observed. Each location in the building has an advantage. A room on the East side commands the morning sun, while a room on the West side allows for a view of remarkable sunsets. Both sides give you a breathtaking vista of northern Maryland throughout each season.
