it was Flag Day yeah and so much history about the flag like Mary Pickersgill made the flag that inspired Francis Scott Key to pin the national anthem and then we have Bob Knowles he's been collecting Flags since he was 14 now the retired community that bears Mary's name that took care of Bob's mom now holds Bob's collection of flags they are everywhere Wow I thought it was fascinating down every hallway first flag I ever got was a 50 star American flag three by five foot cotton two straight days they hang each one I bought one of them while I was in the UK and I mail ordered the rest of these flags nobody does flags like the British and Pickersgill retirement community marches by every single one of the 300 plus flags hanging most of the flags I keep oddly enough in half gallon freezer bags Bob wanted an activity to give his mother out of the room well this did it a big flag show got all the state flag some of them I have in multiple sizes the Maryland flag for existence I for instance I have it about six different sizes his mom passed a few years back but Bob continued the tradition to honor her and honor picker skill even easiest flags I've gotten recently were from Ukraine they said the Pledge and then they sang the anthem what does the flag mean to you everything that you can possibly be so thankful to have for this country it means everything to me Bobby Knowles a nice collection for our flag sorry picker skill is the oldest retirement community of the nation and since they won back in 1802 I don't know if you know this but it had an all-women Board of Directors and still does all women from 1802 to today
