Jones-Harrison Residence is a spirited assisted living community in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is within scenic Hennepin County which is part of the North Star State.

Memory Care at Jones-Harrison Assisted Living offers an intimate environment based on wholeness, dignity, and self-expression. We respect and embrace each resident as individuals while making every effort to meet their physical, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive needs.

The Garden Memory Care offers private, bright, apartment homes featuring a serene and secure outdoor garden courtyard specially designed for those with Alzheimer's and other forms of memory loss. Our Memory Care residents gather for meals and activities in family-style dining and living rooms designed to promote a sense of independence, engagement, and comfort. Our experienced, skilled, and caring staff provides on-site support 24 hours a day.

We offer two types of memory care options tailored to fit the needs of individual residents:

• Assisted Living Memory Care – for individuals suffering from dementia but are generally healthy medically.
• Long Term Care Center Memory Care – for individuals suffering from dementia but may need round-the-clock monitoring from a licensed nurse.

The Jones-Harrison Long-Term Care Center includes:

• Your choice of a private or semi-private room

• Large outdoor courtyards with gazebo; lunches are served outside during the warmer months
• Escorted walks to nearby Cedar Lake

Jones-Harrison offers a comprehensive Transitional Care Unit for individuals who recently have had a hospital stay but aren’t quite ready to return home. Our experienced nursing and rehabilitation professionals bridge the gap between hospital and home by providing the necessary short-term transition services to expedite the healing process. Our therapists have worked with a wide variety of conditions including joint replacements, arthritis, orthopedic repair, cardiopulmonary conditions, diabetes, and more.

Transitional Care Unit options includes:

• Total Joint Replacement program therapy twice a day, seven days a week
• Physical therapy including transfer training and mobility techniques, balance assessment and treatment, and ambulation training with partial body weight system
• Occupational therapy including VitalStim Therapy to help with neuromuscular issues
• Speech therapy
• Warm water exercise in a full-sized pool
• Lymphedema therapy
• Specialty arthritis care including hot and cold packs, massage, and paraffin treatments
• State-of-the-art Wasie Wellness Center to enhance care during and after therapy
