The Shook Home and The Quarters at The Shook is a not-for-profit organization committed to providing quality health care and rehabilitation services to empower individuals to achieve their highest level of independence, dignity, and self-worth in a home-like environment.
Despite the array of services the Shook Home and the Quarters at the Shook currently offers, it continues to evolve to meet the changing needs of the community. The Board of Directors continually engages in strategic planning to ensure the facility is always positioned to optimally serve the community in which it operates. Due to the increased need for short-term and out-patient rehabilitation services (e.g. Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy) offered by post-acute care providers, the Shook Home and the Quarters at the Shook has embarked on opening the Shook Rehabilitation & Wellness Center which offers a state-of-the art therapy gym. Our new building will enable therapists to treat a higher volume of residents in an enhanced therapeutic environment while also providing a venue for additional services.

my heart's often lifted just walking down the hall and seeing them smile one thing I love about working at the show comb is caring for the residents is the number one priority I believe teamwork provides the best care for our residents here my own personal experience is when I work as a team you see the the residents actually become more lively I've appreciated everything since I've been here it means a lot to me to be recognized and that's why I feel about to shook home here it's a wonderful place well therapies are very beneficial because anytime we visit mom after she had that we could definitely see an improvement in her walking or she get in and out of her chair so much easier and did we just definitely saw improvements everyone has been so nice to me I just just feel very fortunate to be here my home away from home and everybody does a wonderful job this is my own wife is here we've surely come to visit I came as Fred
