We believe in allowing our residents to remain independent in whatever capacity possible for as long as possible. However, as an assisted living community we know that sometimes your loved one will need assistance with day-to-day activities.  The attendants at our Belton assisted living community offer health care services to the seniors living in Waco, Temple and Belton.  These include:

• Personal Hygiene: All showering and bathing is monitored or assisted by our staff in large walk-in safety showers. Each of our seniors has a private half-bathroom for basic hygienic needs. The staff at our assisted living home in Belton will also provide assistance in daily dressing and grooming based on individual needs.
• Mobility Assistance: The freedom of mobility is one of our biggest priorities at our assisted living facility. No matter what a resident’s needs are, our staff will modify mobility assistance to suit the needs of each resident.
• Medication Management: The staff members at our assisted living home will monitor and chart the medications of all our residents to ensure correct dosage to be administered at the correct time. Our nursing staff is available for medication management as needed.
• Medical Care: While we do not provide medical care to the seniors living at our Belton facility, we provide treatment rooms for the use of medical or rehabilitation personnel when they visit our community. All medical services are contracted directly with our residents and their family. Our assisted living community will establish personalized health care and a reporting plan with service providers in order to provide the best care for all our residents.

What makes Luvida SPECIAL and set apart from other Assisted Living Centers?

• Luvida is a specialized community with a license to only care for residents with Alzheimer's disease and other related disorders.
• All of our staff members receive four extra hours of training specifically in Alzheimer's and other memory disorders.
• Our Activity Director is a certified Alzheimer trainer who assures that activities are provided for our residents seven days a week to promote socialization and engagement.
• Our experienced dining services team provide three southern cooked meals a day. Special diets are accepted and honored. 
• Executive Director and Director of Nurses are on call 24 hours a day with Manager on Duty at the building on the weekends. 
• Luvida is locally owned and operated and is a small community with only twenty-four apartments. 
• Our staff to resident ratio is one to seven or less.
