Ray of Light Homes is an extraordinary assisted living community in Dallas, Texas. It is within popular Collin County which is part of the Lone Star State.

Ray of Light Homes began as a dream over 25 years ago.

After experiencing the emotional, difficult and traumatic process of finding, then placing, a loved one into an affordable nursing home, it became apparent that better alternatives had to be available. Thereafter, witnessing the loneliness, isolation, and level of "care" given inspired the dream that became Ray of Light Homes.

The responsibility of choosing a care facility for a loved family member is a very stressful and emotional process and can create a great deal of anxiety. We understand how you feel.
 
Our home is beautiful, safe and clean. We provide nutritious meals and fun activities. But what is most important is the tender loving care your family member will receive at Ray of Light Homes. We treat your loved one as a valued and respected member of our own family, providing you with peace of mind.

Our mission is to offer dignified, high-quality personal care to our residents in a loving Christian home environment, treating each resident guest as we would our own family members. We will be compassionate and loving in all we do to enhance the quality of life and daily experiences.     

Our commitment is to provide excellent residential care, tailoring our program for emphasis on each resident’s individual needs and preferences, working directly with family, resident’s physicians, and other health care professionals.

Our commitment is to provide excellent residential care, tailoring our program for emphasis on each resident’s individual needs and preferences (including pre-assessments by our RN and subsequent re-assessments), working directly with family, resident’s physicians, and other health care professionals.

The self esteem and dignity of your loved one is of upmost importance to us so we make sure we consider their physical, emotional, mental and social needs when planning their individualized care.

• Medication management including ordering prescription renewals, locked storage and administration in accordance with physician’s orders
• Arrangement for in-house medical and dental appointments (or assistance in arranging transportation to)
• End of life care / Hospice coordination
• Daily housekeeping, personal laundry and linen service
• Visiting hair dressers (available upon request)
• Shared home telephone line
• Each room has tv hook-up available

Assistance with all activities of daily living, including:

Meals, snacks and beverages

• Freshly prepared nutritious meals served three times daily in the family dining room
• Accommodation for special dietary needs as prescribed by a physician
• Meal plans prepared in advance for the week and displayed for viewing
• Healthy snacks and beverages always available between meals or upon request

Social and recreational activities such as:
