Briarview Assisted Living is in a residential environment with care close at hand. We offer 24-hour support and 24-hour access to care while privacy and independence are encouraged. Briarview develops a personalized care plan to meet each resident’s needs, while providing the freedom to continue to be independent. Our Assisted Living offers convenient dining options as well as medication management, daily assistance, transportation and common areas for social and recreational activities. The Briarview Memory Care program is designed to meet the dynamic needs of families and seniors dealing with Alzheimer’s, dementia and other memory-related diseases. We provide a friendly and calming environment for our residents.

Each resident feels at home at Briarview. Consistent sights, sounds, aromas and objects increase comfort and decrease anxiety. Residents have the freedom to interact with others or have privacy. Associates’ communication with residents soothes and helps redirect their focus to positive memories and activities.

Every aspect of our Sagora Pathways Memory Care program is designed around each resident, from our individualized culinary program, Dining with GRACE, to our Cherished Connections that focuses on recognition, negotiation, collaboration, stimulation, celebration and relaxation.

Our residents enjoy delicious chef-prepared meals three times a day, served in their respective dining rooms. They are offered a choice of entrée and sides at each meal. Having choices is important to establish custom nutrition and culinary programs and is especially important in Memory Care. Assisted Living and Memory Care residents also receive three snacks each day.

Residents are encouraged to be as active as possible. Creative, comprehensive Lifestyles programming such as painting classes, exercise sessions, outings, dancing and karaoke are available to Briarview residents, based on their personal selections from the community’s daily activity calendar and special events.

Our residents have formed an Ambassador Club, which serves as the “Welcome Wagon” at Briarview. They greet and get to know new residents and families, then Club members do their best to introduce them to residents that might have something in common with newcomers.

There is also a Men’s Club at Briarview. Male residents and the Executive Director get together periodically for outings to see a current movie, eat together in a popular restaurant, or to enjoy a baseball game—whatever the guys want to do.

Because we are a pet-friendly community, Independent Living and Assisted Living residents can bring their furry friend with them to live at Briarview. And it’s easy for our Memory Care residents to take advantage of the pet therapy programs we offer.

Should circumstances require it, residents can benefit from a true continuum of care, while transitioning from Independent Living and Assisted Living to Memory Care at Briarview.
