Grounded in extensive research, Music & Memory helps individuals living with a wide range of cognitive and physical challenges find renewed joy in life through musical favorites. As a key element in our memory care programming, our specially trained team creates personalized playlists delivered on iPods to improve the not only the quality of life of those living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia, but also for those who are bed-bound, individuals with chronic pain and those receiving hospice care.

At Walnut Place, meal services are prepared under the direction of the Culinary Chef who trained at the Culinary Institute of America Masterworks and won the Iron Chef DFW region for Compass Group. Senior Assisted Living residents enjoy personal menu selections on a daily basis. Special diets, as required, are routinely provided.
