Although much of the campus is new, we have decades of experience and tradition backing us (we were founded in 1949 as Pilgrim Haven). And we meet the highest national standards for quality senior services.

I'm Nancy I'm Bruce we've been retired 26 years and we're beginning to get the hang of it first visit to the terrorists was by invitation allowed us to get acquainted with some of the terrorists as people salespeople and other people the more we met and dealt with them the more we felt comfortable and encouraged and helped the campus is beautiful plenty of places to walk the landscaping is well-kept and inviting and it's just fun to be in an ordinary neighborhood some of the other places retirement communities here but they are not that close to the downtown area several of them are isolated miles away from the perimeter of the town and therefore by the time that you cannot drive your car anymore are you completely and totally dependent on transportation over people while here I can walk in town this is just a pleasure to be able to relax and know that things are taken care of this is home this is home and so I'm happy here [Music]

[Music] Los Alamos is it's very easy to be able to volunteer and get involved the library which I think Jackie was very much involved in the library has been an interest in my life because I think books are the foundation of learning for everybody my little apartment here is just great for me it's just the right size that the amenities are great he likes every activity that's on the calendar and as you've seen there about it doesn't available every day of the month we're so busy the exercise classes that JC gives are great and it starts the day off right you had a book club you went to every month and now you've got three book clinic yeah life is expanded because we've been able to do so many more things in were able to with so many more people yes all what lots of new friends I have the best of all rules yeah I have a place where I want to be close to the downtown area and by the surroundings and secondly uh approach to all my family members the studies that are me made about growing old they say hey get involved be with people was a new adventure when we came in through and we've made the most of it you
