Our supportive staff provide the levels of need required for our residents to achieve their daily functions with as much independence as possible. Our staff assist with activities from the start of the day, such as getting up, getting dressed, and performing personal hygiene, including oral care and grooming.

Medications are monitored and distributed for administration by pharmacy trained staff. The staff is trained to the highest level of safety and care in the dispensing of medications. All prescriptions are processed through a local pharmacy. Medications are individually stored and held in a locked compartment. Only the staff has access to the storage compartment and can dispense prescribed medications at their required times. Quantity and dispensing are closely monitored and referenced against inventory lists from the pharmacy. All Over-The-Counter medications also require prescriptions and are ordered for each individual resident according to doctor’s orders.

Nutritious meals are planned and prepared fresh daily. Attention is closely paid to personal taste and desires. The planning is done conscientiously to what is liked most. Balance in all the food groups is also paramount to well-being. With that in mind, our meals are proportionately balanced in proteins, vegetables and carbohydrates. Desserts will not be left out, as those are our favored treats.

We encourage our residents to stay as active and involved as they can. We realize that not everyone will participate fully in all the activities. With encouragement, any level of activity is a valuable contribution to their well-being.
