one thing my wife enjoys immensely as she pushes the button on the elevator we can go up to dinner and sit down and we don't have to worry about planning and they're buying and cooking it or cleaning up or anything else she got what she really expected was a divorce in the kitchen that you will so it's really nice to have the dining room available for three meals a day if you choose and at dinner usually everybody is up for dinner so you get a chance to see all of your friends when you don't have to worry about what what's for dinner and plan a menu and you don't have to go to the grocery store which is wonderful the breakfasts are fabulous lots of choices for Mom 'let's to just scrambled eggs two hot cakes to unique you go to the go in to dinner and the servers are there to help you we never had that in our home that is not like our home but I like that part going into dinner not having to cook it or clean up we're relieved a lot of the normal day-to-day activities that are required when you're living on your own my wife doesn't have to plan a menu and boy is she happy about that here having guess is just a real pleasure because you can invite them don't worry about fixing it so dinners of the lunches they come we have a bar facility where people can enjoy a drink before dinner I am a hundred percent happy here you

I can see and I remember many of our friends and Bakersfield sometimes they just sat in their home and watch TV all day well sure and you could see them after they retired just aging almost instantly we don't do that here are younger it get fatter you know we get you here they have so much going on that you can participate in these things almost a hundred of your time if you want and there's all kinds of socialization there's lots of choices more things than you can do which is wonderful because there's such a variety that you're able to select the things you would like to do other things you are not interested in I think that okay creek provides the opportunity for activities and and this is not derogatory but in excess there is so much that you have to pick and choose i think one of the unique things about about a case you creek is that the people want to say in what's going on and so the people are given plenty of occasion to be involved in the decisions that affect them and affect affect the way this place runs people are important people are very important here there's a lot offered you have to pick and choose which ones you decide to be active in you

one of the high points of living here is that you can make or not make a choice to do or not do whatever is offered you are in control of your life much more so than when you lived in your home we looked around the greatest resource we had was the residents and the residents started the program and the residents are currently running the program I do a lot of things outside of acacia Creek I'm a San Francisco City guide and I take people on walking tours and I've taken the group here to the Palace Hotel after lunch and a walking history tour of the hotel it gives me time to go out and do things that I enjoy they have never expected as much as we get from the staff the staff is great they just kind of go out of their way to to help you and it's kind of nice to hear that and to see that well I think that ok Creek provides the opportunity for activities and and this is not derogatory but in excess there is so much that you have to pick and choose any for-profit facility if you fall they immediately put you want a walker this is it you're on a walker from here on it here if you fall it's ok we're gonna work on this but let's see if we can't get you off it's great the turkeys and the deer and of course there's always the horses and the cows on the hill so it's just a great you know you can go out and see nature and it's wonderful you
