Lovelace Living Center

Quality of Life is directly related to the quality of care at Lovelace MultiCare Health Services. Every client is the recipient of exceptional, individualized attention which ensures excellence in care. Lovelace specializes in quality care for individuals with Dementia and/or Alzheimer’s disease, creating an environment that is comfortable, safe and home like.

All three Lovelace Care Centers are located in Northeast Cobb County: Marietta, Woodstock, and Smyrna. The environment, services and activities are for seniors that continue to value their independence. We are proud to say Lovelace Living Care Centers have created a new place for seniors to call home.

We offer a home like environment including: Private and Semi-private rooms, Living Room, Kitchen, Dining Room, Laundry Room and Laundry Services, Caregiver Office, Cable TV, and Internet Access. Services include: skilled nurse, physical therapist, activity therapist, doctors and dental, pharmacy, nutrition and diet, medication supervision, emergency aid, ambulance 3 minutes away.

Personal Care: ambulation assistance, bathing and hygiene, toilet and continence care, transfer and positioning, dressing, feeding, diabetic meal planning, nursing evaluation.

Skilled Nursing:catheter care, ostomy/colostomy care, medication set-up and administration, wound care and dressing changes, feeding tube assistance, skilled hospice support, IV infusion.

Activities include: Family Style Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, Snacks, Participation in meal planning (dietitian on staff for special meal planning), Church, Entertainment, Shopping, Hairdresser and Barber Appointments, Planned Activities and Field Trips Security details: All staff members are CPR and First-Aid Certified, Fire and Burglar Alarms, Routine Fire Drills.

Companionship: safety supervision, socialization, family respite care, medication reminders, meal preparation, bathing and hygiene assistance, shopping and errands, light housekeeping, laundry and linens, facility sitters, writing letters, incoming mail organization, hospice supportive care, incidential transportation, prompting and mental cueing, recreational activities, review with family, alzheimer’s and dementia care, 24-hour emergency response.
