Windsor Place of Wilmington is a premier assisted living community in Wilmington, Massachusetts. It is within perfect Middlesex County which is part of the Bay State.
Windsor Place offers four Assisted Living Service Plans, each designed to fit your particular needs and wishes for personal care. Each Service Plan outlined below has been developed and tested to meet the needs of our assisted living residents. We are, of course, always looking to adapt these services to better meet the needs of our assisted living residents and to improve the quality of life of our residents and their families.
Designed for individuals who no longer wish to live alone, our independent living retirement option answers many needs. Whether you reach this decision because you no longer feel comfortable or safe living alone, or because you simply prefer a retirement lifestyle with more social interaction, the active lifestyle options available at Windsor Place will benefit you and your family.
The Independent Retirement Living Plan provides high quality lifestyle, in the incomparable Windsor Place setting, without the added cost of personal services.
After all, just because you’re retired, and independent, doesn’t mean that you want the burdens of home maintenance, the distractions and costs of repairs or the risks of living alone. Independent retirement living at Windsor Place offers all the privacy and personal prerogative you expect, with the added assurance that if assistance were ever needed it is a few steps away, day or night.
Created for individuals who, although still fairly independent, require some assistance with activities of daily living the assisted living plan is designed for residents who have some needs for personal care services. The Assisted Living Plan includes up to one (1) hour per day of services such as showers, whirlpool baths, and occasional assistance with activities of daily living, and self-administered medication management (S.A.M.M.).
And while the assisted living plan describes a certain array of services, it is certainly not the only set of services available. Should the assisted living plan be inadequate for a brief period or longer, further services and assistance can be added at any time for a reasonable additional cost.
What is not optional is the extraordinarily bright, cheerful and uplifting environment which surrounds our residents at Windsor Palce of Wilmington. Our residents may be limited for the moment, but their spirits will certainly soar with our smiling staff, our tantalizing, nutritious food and our recreational and activities program tailored to all levels of abilities.
The Enhanced Care Plan provides a more complete range of assisted living services for those whose needs are more comprehensive. It includes up to two (2) hours of enhanced personal care each day including assistance with showers, occasional assistance with activities of daily living, and self-administered medication management (S.A.M.M.).
Windsor Place provides a select number of specifically designed apartments and common areas, or Special Care environments, for individuals with Alzheimer's and related disorders requiring memory care, and for those with other special needs. These residents benefit from a protective, familiar, home-like environment and memory care staff that are specially trained to provide Alzheimer's care and memory care services.
There are many families where the older parents or in-laws are living with their adult children. Respite care services are available to provide these families with a break. Respite care is an opportunity for grandmother to have a holiday at Windsor Place, thereby allowing the adult children to also have a respite from their family roles. The respite period is typically 30 days, and is an excellent way to introduce the Windsor Place lifestyle to potential residents and their families.
