St. Dominic Village is one of the leading senior care providers in the Greater Houston area. We are a faith-based, non-profit, continuing care retirement community dedicated to "Caring for Our Elders with the Compassion of Christ."
As a ministry of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, St. Dominic Village provides a seamless continuum of care, comprised of short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing care, assisted living, independent living, the Archbishop Joseph A. Fiorenza Priest Retirement Residence, and respite care services.

the mission statement here at st. Dominic village is caring for our elders with the compassion of Christ we encourage all of our staff that work here to do that we are the only faith-based Catholic campus of our kind in Houston we are faith-based and it shows in everything that we do so it doesn't matter what faith a person has but they're going to be equally cared for with that love and compassion that's part of our mission here the levels of care that we provide our Independent Living and this is for residents who basically can still take care of themselves they don't require any assistance from our staff and we have assisted living which requires a little bit more care then we have the nursing and rehabilitation center the nursing and rehabilitation center can be both long term and short term short term is for those people who need to come in maybe they need some rehabilitation from a stroke or a hip replacement they get rehabilitation and then they go back home and finally we have long term care in the nursing center and this is her residents who need complete 24-hour care with all of their nursing needs you have residents who have come here from their home and they have come from an environment where they did things activities of quality of life that meant a lot to them so my job for me is to make them feel welcome to make them feel at home to make them feel a part of their life this is their life Saint Dominic village is the only continuum of care retirement center that is a part of the Texas Medical Center which makes this unique being so close to the Texas Medical Center here in Houston is a very very important thing not just for me but for the people here that would would get me there for relatives that could come it's it's the most accessible medical center here in the city I want to say that's that's one of the great things about being here at Saint Dominic being here where we're located we have a number of hospitals that around and when a man has come it's right there five minutes can mean a lot to a person in their lives but also on Tuesdays and Wednesdays or doing a week we have the opportunity to take residents to the doctor we have church services we have masses every day makes a big difference living here think Dominic's is the best thing that could ever happen to me or any other Catholic who likes to go to daily Mass and not only Catholics but we have a lot of people who are not Catholic who live here and some go to Mass I'm going sit in our Chapel and talk to Jesus there so it's it's just beautiful just really beautiful our volunteers help us to fulfill our mission and they come because they care whether it's giving funds or your time all of it makes a huge difference to st. Dominic village
